Yang Jui-Yu

Actor of the Contemporary Legend Theatre and Hsing Legend Theatre, Yang Jui-Yu graduated from the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts and is now studying in the Graduate Institute of Transdisciplinary Performing Arts at the National Taiwan University of Arts and teaching in the Department of Taiwanese Opera at National Taiwan College of Performing Arts. Yang studied with Li Yali, Yue Huiling, Zhang Yanhong, Ma Shuai, and Yang Lianying. He has performed The Hu Village, Fight at Jinshan, The Money Tree, Sawing the Vat, Red Peach Mountain, Standing the Horse, The Tale of the Bamboo Forest, Down the Shop, Toward Jinding, Picking up a Jade Bracelet, Xinan Station, Jinshan Temple, Fanjiang Pass, and Muke Village. He won second place at the jingju competition held by the China Central Television and was selected to perform at the Eighth National Jingju Festival in Nanjing. His works include 108 Heroes, Medea, and Goddess Xiwangmu for the Contemporary Legend Theatre, and Wu Song—The Tiger Warrior and The Youth Party for Hsing Legend Youth Theatre.
